Meet the Crew

Stephen Bennett serves as the Vice President of Sales and Operations at Union Church Millworks, where he brings more than 15 years of industry experience, including the last eight years dedicated to advancing the company’s growth and operational excellence. A graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Forest Operations and Business, Stephen leverages a strong foundation in both technical knowledge and business strategy.

Stephen is actively engaged in industry leadership and advocacy. He is the Treasurer of the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association and serves on the boards of the Home Builders Association of Virginia, the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association, and the Better Business Bureau. His leadership style—rooted in transparency, collaboration, and forward-thinking decision-making—supports his strengths in financial oversight, customer engagement, and elevating the customer experience.

Outside of his professional roles, Stephen enjoys life with his wife, Karlie, and their five-year-old daughter, Arya. Their family includes four cats, and together they foster and care for local outdoor cats in their community.

Stephen looks forward to bringing his industry experience, leadership perspective, and commitment to community service to the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

For Allison, the hardwood flooring and millwork industry is more than a career—it's a lifelong passion rooted in family tradition. Growing up, she spent countless hours learning the business alongside her father's company, gaining firsthand experience in every aspect of the trade. Those early years not only taught her the value of quality craftsmanship and hard work but also inspired a genuine love for helping customers create spaces they'll cherish for generations.

Today, Allison combines years of hands-on industry experience with a passion for design and customer service. She enjoys working one-on-one with homeowners, builders, designers, and contractors, helping them navigate every stage of their project—from selecting the perfect hardwood flooring and custom millwork to choosing finishes that complement their style and lifestyle. Her goal is to make every project feel exciting, seamless, and uniquely personal.

What sets Allison apart is her commitment to building relationships. She believes that every customer deserves honest guidance, open communication, and personalized attention throughout the entire process. Whether it's a single-room renovation or a custom new build, she takes pride in listening carefully, understanding each client's vision, and helping turn ideas into beautiful, lasting results.

When she's not helping customers, Allison enjoys spending time with her daughters and friends and continues to find inspiration in beautiful homes, and thoughtful design. She is proud to carry on the values she learned growing up—integrity, hard work, and treating every customer like family.
